Yes folks, the successor to the Optimus G was officially unveiled by local carrier NTT DoCoMo who has confirmed that the new flagship will be part of the spring device lineup. The Optimus G Pro (model number L-04E) packs a 5-inch 1080p display as well as Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
The Optimus G was short lived, dethroned by this pure beauty which sports a Snapdragon S4 Pro SoC ticking at a stunning high clock rate of 1.7GHz; which is quite above the norm for a flagship device. 2GB of ram comes in to play while a 13MP shooter ensures the best possible image quality. 32GB of storage is packed onboard while a 3,000mAh battery powers everything under the hood. Other features include a microSDXC slot and full LTE connectivity.
While LG hasn’t yet commented on the price, we know that it is coming in two different colours – Platinum White and Indigo Black early April and it’s highly probable that they’ll be showing it during MWC2013.
