Samsung Has Plans For Announcing a 5,8-inch Android Smartphone

galaxy playerSamsung is keen on releasing big-screened smartphones, and has been pushing the boundaries since the release of the original Galaxy Note. Then, a device with even larger display hit the shelves, dubbed the Galaxy Note 2. But also, let’s not forget Samsung’s media player lineup, the Galaxy Player. Since day one, there was a 5-inch monster of those, and the latest one is the Galaxy Player 5.8, a 5,8-incher on its own. It’s been the only contender in that category, but it looks like it won’t be left alone for long.

According to the latest information, Samsung is to launch another 5,8-inch device in Europe. This time, not a media player, but a smartphone! Enter the Samsung Galaxy Fonblet 5.8 GT-I9152! It’s a 5,8-inch display, and will come in Pure White color. It will run on Android Jellybean. The rest of the specs are likely the same as those found on the Galaxy Player 5.8, which include 3MP camera, Bluetooth 4.0, qHD display resolution, etc.

We expect the Galaxy Fonblet 5.8 to be announced soon (most likely on MWC 2013). It’s expected to be priced on the cheaper side, because it’s a mid-range device after all, despite its size. We’re going to notify you further about the Galaxy Fonblet.
