As we are counting the days to CES 2013, more and more devices tend to make an earlier appearance. Today we have the official press images of the Huawei Ascend D2 and Ascend Mate, both excellent devices which are going to make a debut at CES 2013.
The Huawei Ascend D2 is China‘s top-ranked Android OEM’s answer to the HTC Droid DNA and Google Nexus 4. The highlight of the device is the 5 inch FullHD display found on the front side. We shouldn’t forget the 1,5GHz quad-core processor and 13MP camera. It should be outed with the latest version of Android.
Next, we have the company‘s new phablet, the 6-inch Huawei Ascend Mate. Apart from the huge screen, which is the largest a smartphone has ever had, the Ascend Mate can be proud of its 3800 mAh battery, 1.8GHz quad-core K3V2 processor and 2 GB RAM.
There’s no doubt Huawei is becoming a top contender in the smartphone league, China-aside. It’s only a matter of time until the big companies begin to feel the pressure from the Chinese top-dog. That said, we see a bright future for Huawei, as one of the most influential smartphone manufacturers of the next year.
