As the demand for extra-large touch screen devices grows Huawei thinks it good to launch a giantnormous 1080p device in 2013. The Ascend Mate is it is called sports a 6.1 display and a Full HD screen resolution. Ascend Mate should be uncovered in a couple of weeks at the annual CES 2013 in Las Vegas, however Richard Yu, Huawei CEO went ahead and showcased it in a Huawei store the other day in Guangzhou, China.
Aside from the huge display Huawei Ascend Mate is 9.9 mm thin, features a 1.8GHz quad-core K3V2 (Huawei own SoC) processor, 2 GB RAM and a tablet-like 4000 mAh battery.
If 6.1 inch is big then what is that mysterious device on the left side of Ascend Mate which looks way larger (see image below).
