Nikon is the first firm who launched a Android-based digital camera not to long ago. Coolpix S800c receives a maintenance software update version 1.2 (120MB in size) which fixes the GPS location problem within the images which was different from the original location where the image was shot, fixes another issue  regarding the date and time on the recording before and after the power button was pushed, the playback icon now fixed and a few other improvements in the software.

Download Nikon Coolpix S800c firmware v1.2 for Windows or Macintosh put it onto the SD card insert the card in the camera and go to where you saved the update file (i.e. F-S800C-V12W.exe for Win) and execute it.

We couldn’t find an English guide on how to install the update so you`ll have to stick with Japanese PDF guide only.
