Cheap Asus ME172V tablet running Jelly Bean gets caught on GL Benchmarks?

Back in October a rumor coming from Asia hinted to a low-budget Nexus tablet manufactured by Asus for under $100. At that time Asus immediately denied the rumor, however a month and a half later a Asus tablet using ME172V model number got caught on GL Benckmark website unveiling the same Mali-400 MP GPU, and a slighlty better SoC clocked at 1GHz instead of 800Mhz processor, rumored a couple of months back.

The ME172V tablet runs on Android latest version Jelly Bean firmware build JRO03H, it has a 7 inch screen with a 1024 x 600 pixels resolution and more importantly likely to have a micro SD card slot which earlier Nexus tablets dont have.

Some say it might no be a Nexus-branded device, but a cheap Asus tablet with which the Taiwan-based OEM is trying to  cut-off iPad Mini sales.
