In September Samsung Electronics published a list of 15 devices (11 smartphones and 4 tablets) that are due for JellyBean firmware upgrades. Looks like GALAXY Tab 2 7.0 is the first Samsung tablet on that list to receive the upgrade to Android 4.1 as SamMobile reports that some French customers already been notified and succesfully installed the latest firmware OTA or via KIes software.
It wont be long before all European customers will be elligible for the same upgrade. Users of such devices in the UK, Germany, Italy or Spain should go ahead and try to check for their upgrade to JellyBean.
The remaining Samsung devices scheduled to received upgrade to Android 4.1 JellyBean are as follows: Galaxy S II, Galaxy Note, Galaxy S Advance, Galaxy S II LTE, Galaxy Music, Galaxy Chat, Galaxy Ace 2, Galaxy Beam, Galaxy Ace Plus, Galaxy Mini II, Galaxy S DUOS and Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, Galaxy Note 10.1.
