Lenovo has launched a new 7 inch low-end tablet. Behold, the Lenovo LePad A2207. It comes like an upgrade to the existing LePad A2107 tablet from the Chinese manufacturer. The exterior design remains the same, and the changes lie under the hood.
The Lenovo LePad A2207 has a 7 inch display with resolution of 1024×600 pixels. The processor found inside is a 1GHz dual-core MediaTek 8377, which is on the cheap side and not very powerful. It packs a 2MP camera on the back and a VGA on the front. It has Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich pre-installed. The tablet is available in two memory options: 1GB RAM plus 16GB storage, and 512MB RAM plus 4GB storage, and the two versions are sold for 1299 Chinese Yuan (161 Euro) and 1499 Yuan (186 Euro) respectively.
The tablet is currently available in China only, and we have no idea whether it will ship abroad or not. Only time will tell, we guess..
