Lenovo may not be the first OEM whose looking to launch a device with a 1080p screen but they surely want to become a part of the new trend as you may already read in our previous reports, Sharp, HTC, Sony, LG, Oppo, Huawei and more recently rumored Samsung, they all feature a 1080p display on their 5 or 6 inch upcoming phones.
Earlier this week, Sina Weibo featured three screenshots showcasing Lenovo’s customized Android UI in 1080p. Following a trend in China’s smartphone specs, the device supports dual-SIM connectivity, connected to China Telecom’s CDM A2000 network and China Mobile’s 2G network at the same time.
A 4.5″ – 5.5″ display will be a feature of the new Android smartphone. Sources also state that the phone’s entered its testing stages a while ago, so we should hear an official announcement in China fairly soon. A new era is on the horizon, the era of Full HD mobile devices. Stay tuned for more details.
