Pantech Vega Racer 3 beat Samsung GALAXY S3, GALAXY Note II and HTC One X in Benchmark test

Pantech known for its Vega Racer high-end Android device series, slowly but steady becomes an important player outside Korea as well, as today the company ranks 3rd after Samsung and LG in its own country.

Recently the South Korean vendor announced 3rd generation Vega Racer device which packs an extra-large 5.3 inch display, quad-core Qualcomm S4 Pro CPU,2GB of RAM, 13MP camera and Android 4.0 ICS with a custom-made user interface on top of it.

Folks at ePrice snagged a Vega Racer 3 unit and put it to a few benchmark tests among which AnTuTu, Velamo and NenaMark. Surprisingly or not VR3 is a worthy adversary because it beat GALAXY Note II‘s score on AnTuTu and the GALAXY S3 in Velamo HTML5 test and HTC One X (see screenshots below).
