Sharp to launch a Full HD SH930W Jelly Bean device soon

Is SHARP really in trouble, financially speaking? I’m asking myself the same question because PocketDroid reported about several new Android devices that are due by the end of the year and there is word in town about a new Full HD device coming soon from Japan-based manufacturer.

Makes sense to expect such a device from SHARP, as they have recently begin production for 1080p displays.

According to GLBenchmark site Sharp SH930W runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean comes with a Full HD screen resolution (unspecified screen size), 1.5GHz Dual-core Qualcomm MSM8260A processor and Adreno 225 GPU. Aside from that our multiple sources confirm GSM/WCDMA support for the following bands: 2G: GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz; 3G: WCDMA 2100, comes with a microSD card slot for up to 32GB, 3.5 mm headphones jack, micro USB 2.0, WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth.

Sharp SH930W expected to make it’s debut sometime later this month.
