Samsung to overhaul their entire brand at CES2013 in January

Samsung Electronics, world’s leading smartphone manufacturer is allegedly preparing to change their entire brand, the current blue-white Samsung logo will be scrapped, leading the way for a new logo with new individual colors that are made to represent the brand more as a global one, rather than a restricted Korean one.

Sources who have spoken with Channel News say that the South Korean handset maker’s advertising will soon focus less on devices and more on people’s lifestyles, Samsung may be willing to adopt Microsoft’s WP strategy to concentrate on the users & their needs.

Samsung appears to be taking a step further and shows an interest in a design oriented approach and that transition is evident from former Creative head Choi Gee Sung taking over the CEO position in 2011.
