We had heard many rumors and speculations about a mysterious 5 inch HTC device, and the rumors turned out to be all but true when HTC announced the HTC J Butterfly, which was the leaked device. Unfortunately, it was said that the device would be for Japan only, and that turned our moods down, only a week later to catch a Verizon-based equivalent of the device in blurry shots. Just three days ago we heard that the device will be named HTC Droid DNA for Verizon, and today we see two images that could be the official press renders. The pictures come from evleaks Twitter account, and they seem to be the real deal.
If you need a refreshment on the specs, the HTC Droid DNA will feature a 5 inch FullHD display, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, accompanied with Adreno 320 GPU and 2GB RAM. It should have 16GB on-board storage, plus a microSD card expansion slot. The camera should be an 8MP one, coupled with a front-facing one of 2MP. The device will run on Android 4.1 Jellybean. The price of the device and launch date are yet to be heard.
