ZTE quietly launches U950 quad core Android phone with 4.3 display & 2000 mAh battery


ZTE is “one of the new players” in the mobile industry who wants to make it to the top of the chain, where Samsung and Apple are right now.

Today, the Chinese vendor quietly announced a new smartphone, a budget-friendly quad core device powered by the same chipset that’s on the Nexus 7 – 1.3GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 SoC. The ZTE U950 has a 4.3 inch (800×480) display, 4GB of built-in memory storage, 1GB of RAM, 5 megapixels camera capable of recording 1080p videos, 2000 mAh battery and Ice Cream Sandwich OS.

ZTE U950 is 9mm thin and it is available for pre-order in China right now. Shipping starts on November 11
