Panasonic Eluga receives Android 4.0.4 ICS firmware upgrade in Europe (Germany confirmed)

Looks like finally Panasonic Eluga owners can enjoy the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich experience. Panasonic has issued a press release in which informs its customers about a firmware upgrade to Android 4.0.4 ICS OS. The upgrade is already rolling out in Germany and although we do not have further information about other European countries our advise is to try and manually check if the same software update is available in your area (country).

No word from Panasonic about Eluga Power yet. More details on future reports. Stay tuned to Pocketdroid!

Panasonic launches update for its smartphone ELUGA

 Wiesbaden 26, October 2012 – Panasonic introduces update to Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.4.

Panasonic distributes a free update for Panasonic’s Android smartphone ELUGA.

The update will be from the 30th October will be available and delivered through the Google Play Store. The update tool “ELUGA ICS update” can be found in Google Play store and secures the simple step-by-step installation process for Ice Cream Sandwich update. Panasonic recommends using a stable wireless connection to the data packet of about 150MB to download.

  1. Now, how much more do we Eluga dL1 users have to wait to also receive the so much waited Kitkat 4.4.2? This Panasonic Eluga dL1 can perfectly receive this software and it would surely solve the battery quick draining..!
