Taiwanese regulators website hints at Asus Nexus 7 3G tablet existence

Lets make a short wrap-up first. A 32GB Nexus 7 it is on its way to the market sometime in mid-November according to all recent leaks from retailers all over the world. We also know that Google is going to hold an Android-related press event on October 29 in New York City.

Today a new clue hints to the existence of a 3G Nexus 7 tablet. According to Taiwan’s National Communications Commission (NCC) website, an Asus Pad device that goes by model number ME370TG received its certification. Considering that the original Nexus 7 tablet uses model number ME370T (WiFi-only, no 3G support where G stands for 3G), makes sense to belive that this is the 32GB Nexus 7 tablet with 3G and maybe 4G LTE support, who knows. The document also reveals GSM/WCDMA bands, Bluetooth, NFC technology, WiFi and DCS.

While the rest of the specs are likely to remain the same, at the event scheduled for October 29 in NYC Google might unveil the next Nexus smartphone, 32GB Nexus 7 WiFi-only (to sell at the same price as the 16GB version according to previous leaks) and 32GB Nexus 7 WiFi+3G tablet.
