LG Mobile starts Android 4.1 JellyBean rollout in Korea next month: Optimus VU 2 first, LG Optimus G in December


LG Mobile announces its intentions to begin the Android 4.1 JellyBean software update deployment next month (November) on its domestic market. Firt in line is the brand new Optimus VU 2, followed in December by Optimus G, while Optimus VU original in the first quarter of 2013.

The South Korean manufacturer hasnt spoken a word about a global release yet, however we belive that JellyBean will rollout about the same time all over the world, the software is ready just needs local network operators approval before releasing the upgrades to customers.

As we speak NTT Docomo has begun pushing out Ice Cream Sandwich software updates in the country for LG Prada L-02D and LG Optimus LTE L-01D, upgrading them from Android 2.3 to Android 4.0.4 OS.
