Samsung Deutschland invited the press at the end of September to a press event which will take place tomorrow, October 11 in Frankfurt, Germany, where the South Korean manufacturer should unveil the GALAXY S III Mini, a smartphone specially designed for European’s demand for mid-range devices. Some even went further saying its being released to compete against Apple iPhone 5 on the continent.
According to MobileGeesk [DE], GALAXY S3 mini which resembles perfectly the original 4.8 inch GALAXY S III hence its name, will feature a 4 inch display Super AMOLED (480×800) display, 1GHz dual-core ST-Ericsson U8420 processor with 1GB of RAM, 16GB onboard storage+microSD card slot, 5MP camera with LED Flash, 1500 mAh,DLNA, NFC and it runs latest Android 4.1 JellyBean operating system. GALAXY S III mini has the following dimensions 121.55 x 62.95 x 9.85 mm.
Dutch GSM Helpdesk blog confirms the above specs sheet through the real-life shot (seen above) published a couple of hours ago. No word about its pricing details.
