Android 4.1.2 rolling out to Nexus 7 after hitting ASOP

Google recently shed light on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, a minor update to the Android ecosystem. Google’s head engineer Jean-Baptiste Queru officially announced that Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean will be pushed to the Android Open Source Project. The new build gives Nexus 7 users the ability to rotate and user their homescreen in landscape mode.

The update also improves power management chip of the Nexus 7 but we have no changelog yet so we’re guessing that Google has once again bumped the platform with few enhancements, bug fixes and possible a few features.
