Asia-Pacific Telecom announces 4.3 inch Sharp SH630E ICS smartphone


SHARP is a rather new player onto the mobile market, just recently we’ve seen a couple of its devices surfacing in several leaked images, first the 5 inch SH530U back in mid-August and more recently the SH631U a 4.5 inch smartphone. Both running Google Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

Today in Asia the Asia-Pacific Telecom network operator held a press event where a new SHARP phone has been unveiled. SHARP SH630E has a 4.3 inch qHD display 960 x 540 pixels resolution, powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor, 8MP camera on the back, 1.3MP in front, 1650 mAh battery, it is 9.5 mm thick and runs Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich OS with Feel UX on top of it.

Sharp SH630E will be available in mid-October 2012, in Taiwan for an estimate $12,000 Taiwan dollars (about $410 USD).
