Samsung Galaxy Note 2 goes on sale in UK for a rocket high price


The Samsung’s super-powered 5.5 inch phablet just hit UK shelves yesterday, Samsung’s Staff confirmed that the device can be bought for £549.95 without contract, around £20 pricer than the iPhone 5. It’s worth noting that some retailers selling it for a slightly cheaper price, Amazon for instance is selling the 16GB version for £536.49 SIM free, while Expansys is offering the same version for £529.99.

The Galaxy Note 2 is also available on contract from O2, Orange, T-Mobile & Vodafone for around £41 per month. The 2-year O2 contract also comes with unlimited texts, unlimited minutes and 1GB of monthly data. Three is also started selling the Galaxy Note 2 for an additional £69 on its £34 Ultimate Internet 500 plan which basically offers 500 minutes and 5,000 texts along with unlimited data usage.

The cheapest offer is from supermarket giant Tesco which is offering the Galaxy Note 2 for free on a £36 per month on the O2 contract. The plan comes with the same offerings but is cheaper than Phones 4U offer.
