Earlier last month we told you about the multi-user code hidden in Jelly Bean, one of Google’s latest patents should add an exciting capability to it.
The patent Google acquired is simply for using facial recognition to log in different “predetermined” people. While Google hasn’t announced anything yet, it’s pretty easy to assume that this will be added to Android’s multi-user code as soon as possible. While it might not be useful on something like a smartphone, for devices like tablets which multiple people, like a family, might use this will make using the device that much better.
Imagine just hitting the power on button and basically instantly the device is customized to your preferences. Androids’s future looks brighter everyday!
