Week in Review @PocketDroid (27.08 – 02.09)

Another week had passed, and it’s time for our weekly review, the Week in Review @PocketDroid.

LG announced the first quad-core Snapdragon S4 LTE device, the Optimus G. Here are our impressions of that:

fter leaking several times in the last few weeks looks like LG decided to go public announcing its new quad-core beast that’s about to punch GALAXY S3 in the face or so some claim.

LG Optimus G is an LTE device powered by Qualcomm’s latest APQ8064 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset, Adreno 320 GPU, it features a 4.7 inch WXGA True HD IPS+ display with 1280x768p and 16:9 screen ratio. 2GB RAM included

The Samsung Galaxy S3 was initially launched in two color variants: Pebble Blue and Marble White. Samsung now works on expanding the Galaxy S3color palette with 4 new colors: Amber BrownGarnet Red, Sapphire Black and Titan Grey. They are all inspired by natural materials found on Earth. The Motorola Droid RAZR M appeared on a press photo with a white trim. Here’s a cut from the article:

Yesterday, we presented all of the new Motorola Droid RAZR M 4G LTE specs and today we happened to receive another interesting information regarding the upcoming droid. From the images above, we can clearly conclude that it will also come with white trim color alongside the standard black one. The white trim suits this handset very well, and this reminds us of the Droid RAZR itself, which was also released with a white color option that made the device look even classier. The Kevlar makes a nice contrast on the back, while a similar effect is also achieved at the front. Read more
