Huawei and NTT Docomo annnounced dual-core Ascend D LTE HW-01E with 4.5 inch HD display


A couple of days ago Huawei in partnership with the Japanese network operator, NTT Docomo introduced the LTE (Xi) version of Ascend D series smartphone.

Huawei Ascend D LTE is powered by Qualcomm’s MSM8960 Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz with Adreno 225 GPU, 1GB RAM, 8GB of built-in storage, comes equipped with a large 4.5 TFT HD (1280 x 720) display, 13MP camera and Android 4.0 (ICS).

Additionally the HW-01E phone packs a 1,800 battery, Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi, WiFi Direct, GPS, USB 2.0, audio jack 3.5 mm. Ascend D LTE weighs 135 grams at its 9.9 mm thickness and it will be available in Asia from October / November at a undisclosed price in Black or White colours.
