NTT DoCoMo is preparing another device for the new season. Behold, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 Plus! As the name suggests, it’s an upgraded version model number SC-01E of the popular Galaxy Tab 7.7.
The tablet features 1,5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 APQ8060 processor, instead of the 1,4GHz dual-core Exynos chipset found in the original version. Other than that, the rest of the specs are pretty much the same. It has a gorgeous 7,7 inch Super Amoled Plus display of WXGA resolution (1280 x 800), 1GB RAM, 3MP rear-facing camera plus 2MP front-facing one, 32GB storage plus a microSD card slot, 5100mAh battery, and the usual set of connectivity features, like Wi-Fi, GPS and 3G HSPA network. The tablet is only 7,9mm thick and weighs 345 grams. The device runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
The retailer suggests a release date scheduled for October-November. We don’t know anything regarding the price of the device, but it shouldn’t come too expensive, considering that it’s right in the mid-range of tablets.
