Google Nexus 7 tablet is now available pretty much everywhere through retailers. For example Romanian retailer QuickMobile has begun selling both 8Gb and 16GB variants for over a week now, while over the weekend French retailer PriceMinister listed the 16GB model as available for €300. There are many other retailers like these that we are not aware of throughout Europe, Asia and Australia which already sells the 7″ quad core tablet. Read more
Sony updated their Xperia 2011 lineup to Android 4.0.4. Here’s a cut from the story:
Not later than last week Sony Mobile begin rolling out Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) to Xperia P, a handset that’s part of 2012 Xperia NXT series.
In a post on its official blog today, Sony has announced that starting this week the following handsets: Xperia mini pro, Xperia neo L and Live with Walkman are next in line to receive Android 4.0 software update followed by Xperia arc, Xperia arc S, Xperia neo, Xperia neo V, Xperia mini, Xperia pro, Xperia active and Xperia ray, all part of Xperia 2011 series which will enjoy the same treatment over the next few weeks. Almost a month ago, we saw acceptance units of the Xperia J, and now we got the first press render of the upcoming device. As you can see, it resembles Xperia arc’s design quite a lot (read: curved back cover). We find it quite appealing. Full article

According to a statement given by LG Mobile to Korean NewsTomato agency, Android 4.0 ICS firmware upgrade consisted of a 536MB file size is almost ready for September rollout. Asus Transformer Pad TF300 got official Jellybean update. Here’s a paragraph from the article:
