Rumor: Three if not four Google partners to launch Nexus smartphones in 2012?

Google Nexus smartphone rumors are on a roll today! After seeing earlier an allegedly specs sheet of a Google Nexus 2 or refresh (if you like) model tipping to sport a 4.65″ Super AMOLED HD display, 1.5GHz A9 dual-core CPU, 8MP camera and Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) new details emerges from Asia pointing to a series of three Nexus phones launching this year manufactured by Samsung, LG and Sony.

According to AndroidNoodles blog which got in possession of a document (roadmap) that they claim it belongs to Japanese carrier NTT Docomo showing at least three Nexus smartphones: Sony Xperia Nexus (model number SO-04E), LG Optimus Nexus (model number  L-08E) and Samsung GALAXY Nexus II (model number SC-02E)

This document also reveals other interesting handsets like Samsung GALAXY S III Plus (model number SC-01E), LG Optimus Bright II (model number L-02E) and a Panasonic ELUGA sporting a quad-core chipset.

Let’s not get to hyped just yet, as it is only a rumor. We havent seen any evidence from this blog only a text sheet, however rumors about Google wanting to have more than one Nexus partner in 2012 came from The Wall Street Journal in a report published in May. Actually Google wanted to partner with 5 major manufacturers. Counting Asus to the above list of three with its Nexus 7 tablet we are now 4 Nexus devices confirmed and one more to go. Could it be HTC?
