The press went nuts yesterday about a blurry screenshot taken by a annonymous tipster which was handed to KnowYourMobile blog. The screenshot looks awfully fake (see below), reason why we havent had any reports on this topic all day.
Here’s how things evolved – a Samsung fan by his name Daniel UY draw a mock-up of the GALAXY Note 2, which in his vision, the upcoming phablet should look like (see image above). Once the leaked screenshot was posted by KnowYourMobile everyone took it as the real deal, however is not the case as Daniel cleared it out for us saying that it is only a screenshot of his original drawing and not an official press render from Samsung. He was also kind enough to share his original drawing with us via Twitter.
This is not the first drawing that showed up during last week, GSMArena also received something similar made by someone else. GALAXY Note 2 is rumored to sport a flexible 5.5 inch AMOLED display with a 16:9 screen ratio. We are also expecting a quad-core Exynos 4 Quad CPU to equip the new hybrid.
Samsung Electronics is holding a Samsung Mobile Unpacked press event in Berlin at the end of the month (August 29), a day before IFA trade show starts.
