The much rumored quad core smartphone announcement by Chinese phone maker Xiaomi was done today, as they unveiled Xiaomi MI2. Its the first phone on the planet to run JellyBean 4.1 on a Qualcomm APQ8064 Snapdragon S4 PRO chipset.
Being priced at $313 and restricted only to the Chinese market, the phone has specs of a high end phone. It has an 8 mega-pixel camera with f2.0 capture ability to take 8 shots per second, usb on the go, 2GB RAM, 2000mAh battery, 4.3 inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280×720. The device will be getting an assistant like Siri and is likely to be launched in October.
