NTT Docomo has announced that a software update for both Sony Xperiaacro (SO-02C) and Samsung GALAXY Note (SC-05D) that brings Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system to these handsets will begin rolling out to customers by the end of August.
GALAXY Note besides upgrading from Gingerbread to Ice Cream Sandwich will also receive a Premium Suite which includes several updates apps and some new ones.

still no update on my Galaxy note sc-05d :(
me either and its the end of the month, thing is, i went to the source link and found nothing from the site about the upgrade, i did a google translate.
I saw on the samsung jp site that the update will some time in September, not August. Had a hard time translating because the notice was an image, not text. There’s 2012 and a 9, so I figured it’s September 2012. Check it out.

has anyone successfully rooted their sc-05d on ICS? The Tegrak root for ICS does not seem to work.
