Google working on Google Play store gift cards

It appears that Google is already planning to add more features in Play Store to enhance usability subsequently making purchases easier. The new Play Store update (v.3.8.15) which is being rolled out appears to feature some nice goodies buried deep into the code itself, Android Police uncovered those little secrets by decoding the apk file.

Those new changes include the much awaited redeemable Play Store gift cards, add items to a wishlist & various other interface elements which are unfortunately disabled by default for the time being. This gives us a glimpse that Google may be prepping something which may change the way that users make purchases in the Play Store.

The wishlist feature will supposedly allow users to add & list various content for purchase at a later time. Google hasn’t yet announced these features but we presume that those will be rolled out soon in a future update.
