Samsung is apparently working on upgrading its flagship devices to the latest version of Android, Both the Galaxy SII & SIII will reportedly get their respective firmware upgrades in Q4 2012. The test builds are already being worked on internally at Samsung, but a release might be imminent if we consider the case of the ICS update for the Galaxy SII. The first device to get Jelly Bean will obviously be the top-selling Galaxy S3 which recently broke the 10 million sales barrier.
Sam Mobile reports that the Android 4.1 builds for the Galaxy S II & SIII have passed the initial testing stage and Samsung engineers are working on the public release of the update. Samsung has not yet commented on this rumor but expectations are high among Galaxy SII, SIII & Note owners as they await for the new update while some haven’t yet been upgraded to ICS.
