Motorola XOOM WiFi-only reportedly getting Android 4.1.1 upgrade

What Google promises, Google usually delivers. Back in June at Google I/o 2012 the search giant announced its first Android tablet – Nexus 7 that runs the latest version of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Google also announced that the first three devices to receive an upgrade to the latest OS sometime in mid-July, would be the GALAXY Nexus, Nexus S and Motorola XOOM tablet.

While the GALAXY Nexus and Nexus S firmware upgrade is already deploying, Motorola XOOM owners are still waiting for the software update to arrive.

Now reports are coming in, about US Motorola XOOM WiFi-only tablet getting Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean firmware upgrade. Our source @MyAndroidLife who bought the tablet in the US, but right now he lives in the United Kingdom informed us that he has received the OTA JRO03E upgrade to Android 4.1.1 about three hours ago. Did you get yours yet?
