White 10.1 GALAXY Note gets unboxed in South Korea reveals 2GB of RAM & Quad-core CPU


Not later then yesterday we were reporting about 10.1 GALAXY Note TV commercial leak, 24 hours later we get to see an unboxing in photos of a white retail model on a South Korean blog. This unboxing article reveals some of the upgrades the 10.1″ phablet with an S Pen received during the last 3 months.

Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 will launch with a WXGA display with 1280×800 pixels resolution, 2GB of RAM (instead of just 1GB), 16GB of built-in storage, the same quad-core Exynos 4412¬†CPU as GALAXY S III clocked at 1.4GHz (replaces the dual-core CPU shown during MWC 2012), a 5MP rear-facing camera with autofocus and LED flash plus a 2MP front-facing camera, capable of shooting and playback videos at 1080p HD, a huge 7000 mAh battery, HSPA+ and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

The 10.1 phablet will hit the shelves next month in Taiwan and maybe by the end of August on other continents too. Samsung likely to bring this hybrid device to IFA trade show in Berlin on August 31st.
