A new Samsung device GT-N7100 has been spotted at the end of the week in GLBenchmark test results, which could be the next GALAXY Note phablet considering that the first 5.3 device has assigned GT-N7000 build number.
According to these test results the new Samsung GT-N7100 mysterious handset will sport a quad-core Exynos 4412 CPU that’s pretty much similar with the one on the GALAXY S3, only clocked at a higher frequency 1.6GHz instead of 1.4Ghz.
The upcoming phablet is also rumored to feature a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with a narrower body inspired by GT-I9300 design which is the current Samsung flagship phone. Samsung GALAXY Note 2 might make its debut in the US as early as August 15th, a date set by Samsung Electronis inviting the press to “please join Samsung Electronics America for a major announcement and unveiling of the newest Galaxy device.“
August seems like a busy month for Samsung, as the South Korean OEM prepares to release the 10.1 GALAXY Note in Taiwan and at the end of the month on August 31st Samsung will head to Europe for the IFA one of the leading trade shows for consumer electronics and home appliances held each year in Berlin, Germany.
