The Taiwanese manufacturer, HTC had a change of heart at the end of 2011, when the company announced that they will focus on delivering less handhelds in 2012 to concentrate on manufacturing quality phones. However HTC kind of contradicts itself, as they have released already at least 7 – 8 smartphones in 2012.
Dual-SIM HTC T329w Proto is one such example. The phone at its 114 grams is about to debut in China sporting a 4.0-inch WVGA display with 800x480p resolution, powered by a newly announced Qualcomm dual-core MSM8225 S4 Play chipset clocked at 1.2GHz with 768MB of RAM, Adreno 203 GPU, 4GB internal storage (ROM) expandable for up to 32GB via microSD card slot, 5MP camera and a 1650mAh battery. Additionally, HTC Proto 3G runs Android 4.0.4 ICS OS with HTC Sense 4.0 UI on top.
HTC will probably sell T329w Proto in China at 1,399 yuan (which is about $220 USD).
