It’s pretty usual for high-end smartphones to get Chinese clones. If fact, there are hundreds of iPhone clones, and dozens of Galaxy Nexus clones available. And now they cloned the Galaxy S3.
There are two clones currently available, one is a low-end device, while the other is a mid-range phone. The higher-end clone features a 4,8 LCD panel of HD resolution, 1GB RAM, 1,2GHz dual-core processor, 2500mAh battery, and Android 4.0 out of the box. The low-end copy has a 4,7 inch WVGA LCD screen, 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM and comes pre-loaded with Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
The higher-end clone is available at Chinaecarts.com for $272, while the lower-end one is available at Android-sale.com for $209.
