LG have officially launched the L series Android smartphone lineup in Australia and have added the L2 dualsim smarthphone, which was announced at MWC in February, to the series. Check out all the four device by clicking more below.
The L7 has a 4.3″ NOVA Display, 1Ghz CPU and runs the Android 4.0 with Optimus 3.0 UI. The device also has a 5MP camera. The L7 can be bought from Optus dealers for $269 on pre-paid or for $0 upfront on a $30 plan for the black variant whereas you can get the White L7 exclusively from Allphones with a price of $295.
The L5 has a 4″ display and runs a 800Mhz CPU. The phone runs the same Android 4.0 OS with Optimus 3.0 UI. It has a slightly smaller battery at 1500mAh (L7 has 1750 mAh). The stand-out feature on the L5 is the QuickMemo function that allows users to take quick notes and get screen captures which they can then share at the push of a button. L5 will be available from Boost Mobile retailers in August for $199 as a pre-paid phone.
The L3 comes with a 800Mhz CPU and a 1GB of RAM displayed on a 3.2″ QVGA Screen. The phone runs the Android 2.3 Gingerbread ROM and has a 3.2 MP camera. The phone runs the same 1500 mAh battery thats there on the L5. The phone is aimed at a more precise low-budget market due to its smaller size.
The L2 dual-sim has specs identical to that in the L3 with the exception of it being able to operate two sims. A hot key built into the device allows for easy switching between the two sims. Optimus L2 will also be available through Boost Mobile and other retail outlets at $119 on pre-paid from August.
