Huawei Device has started selling today on its domestic market the new dual-core Ascend D1 3G smartphone part of the Diamond series which also includes a quad-core model called Ascend D quad.
Ascend D1 3G has similar specs with Ascend P1, features a large 4.5-inch TFT IPS+ HD touch screen with 1280x720p display, powered by a TI OMAP 4460 dual-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz with 1GB of RAM, it has 8GB of built-in memory storage (ROM) and it runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
In addition the phone weighs 132 grams at its 8.9 mm thickness, comes with a 1,800mAh battery, dual-cameras; 8MP main camera on the back that can record 1080p HD videos and a 1.3MP front-facing camera capable of 720p video stream. Bluetooth 3.0, GPS and WiFi are also included.
Huawei Ascend D1 3G sells in China at 2499 yuan which is about $395 USD.
