Huawei have announced the Ascend P1 TD-SCDMA and 2600mAh XL droids at the Mobile Asia Expo. Both these phones are variants of the International Ascend P1 and are heading for China with a different 3G radio and a larger battery. The TD-SCDMA is a phone that is better suited for the third generation networks in China while the 2600 mAh XL is purely for users who extensively use their phones. The huge battery is bound to add an extra millimeter or so to the device’s rear-end. The Ascend P1 XL will be released in China sometime in Q3 of this year.
