Samsung GALAXY R launched in South Korea with 4.3 screen, 1.5GHz dual-core S4 CPU and Android 4.0 ICS


Samsung Electronics launches a new LTE smartphone the GALAXY R (SHV-E170S/K/L) in Korea available on all three major carriers. The phone was announced earlier this month on May 11th alongside with Vega Racer 2 and  LG Optimus LTE2. This is the first Samsung smartphone to sport Qualcomm’s 1.5GHz dual-core MSM8960 Snapdragon S4 chip solution.

Running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with the latest Samsung TouchWiz UX on top, the phone has a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of ROM (on-board memory storage) expandable for up to 64GB, weighing 129g at its 9.79mm as part of the high-end class offers a slim contoured design for comfortable grip.

In addition, GALAXY R has a 5-megapixel camera, 1.3MP camera in front, 2000 mAh battery, WiFi a / b / g / n, WiFi Direct, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, powerful features  such as T-DMB support, DLNA.
