Android 4.0.4 update for the GALAXY Nexus a matter of days

It seems that Verizon Wireless has approved Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich software update for the GALAXY Nexus according to the PDF document posted on VZW support page of the device. It is usually just a matter of days before the new firmware build IMM76K is being pushed out to handsets, which means that customers owning a GNex device should be getting the latest version by the end of this week.

In some locations the update about 39MB in size might be available earlier, all you have to do is to manually check from time to time to see if the update is available in your area.

Note: The update will be pushed out over the air (OTA) directly from Google which means that it could be available in other countries as well. If you do recieve it please let everyone else know in the comments section below.
