AndyPad’s finally receive Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade

Last year a lot of hype surrounded the AndyPad tablets, they were small cheap and pretty good at that time. While the time passed by customers were getting frustrated about the lack of an upgrade to the latest version  of Android operating system.

At the end of last week AndyPad announced that the so very long-awaited upgrade will be arriving this week and it seems they kept their promise the files required to update your tablet are now available to download for both the standard and pro edition.

But before rushing into the updating process you need to know a few things. First read this PDF format manual on how to do it and secondly check this forum thread where customers report that Google Play Store wont work on ICS OS. In the same thread you’ll find the original ROM’s if at some point would like to revert back to your previous ROM.

Download Android 4.0 ICS ROMs files for your AndyPad.

Note: The flash tool RKAndroidTool.exe file has to be run as Administrator (Windows) – if you don’t do this then it won’t work properly.
