One of our tipsters sends us some interesting information about a new LG smartphone which apparently will be headed to AT&T network operator in the US.
LG LS-E970 by its model build number runs on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich (IMM76D / IMM76I) according to GLBenchmark test results, it is equipped with Qualcomm’s latest quad-core MSM8960 “Pro” chip (not to be confused with the dual-core S4 MSM8960) that incorporates Adreno 320 GPU, which was announced at MWC 2012 in Barcelona, Spain to arrive in the Q2 of 2012. The quad-core S4 Pro CPU is clocked at a minimum frequency – 384 MHz up to a maximum CPU frequency – 1512 MHz. The chipset also has support for LTE networks.
We have reasons to belive that the LG LS-E970 might be an improved variant of LG Optimus 4X HD for US market, leading to speculation that it will sport the same 4.7-inch IPS HD touch screen since GLBenchmark results show a 1280 x 768 p resolution display.
