Sony will be releasing an Android 4.0 update package for the Sony Tablet P a month after its Tablet S was updated. Tablet P users will have to stick it out with Android 3.2 Honeycomb for another week or so till they receive their Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update. Small apps can now be used simultaneously with another app in a small window. Apps capable of doing so include the Calculator, Browser or the Remote Control Function. The update includes a new browser that will allow the user to switch between mobile and desktop versions of a site with a single button. The Tablet P will be updated in Japan on May 24th but you can expect the International update to go out the same day. You can download the update OTA sometime next Thursday.
