Sony Mobile is about to launch a new entry-level handset to the world-wide market called — Sony Xperia ST21i or better known in the Android world as Sony Tapioca.
Mobile-Review already published an article in which they are reviewing the handset way before its official launch and thanks to them we get to go up close and personal with the small smartphone.
From previous leaks Sony Xperia ST21i has a 3.2-inch HVGA display, powered by a 800Mhz MSM7227 CPU with 512MB of RAM. This little fellow comes with 3GB of ROM (built-in memory storage), a 3MP rear-facing camera with autofocus and LED Flash, 1,460 mAh battery capacity, WiFi, and apparently it will run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS. Why this small guy can run on ICS but Samsung GALAXY Tab P1000 or GALAXY S I9000 cant? I guess everyone is asking the same question!
Tapioca should be available sometime in July or early August for a price ranging from 145 to 160 Euros, according to Sony India leak at the beginning of the year
