Moto Droid X2 and the QWERTY version Droid 3 are both receiving software updates although it isn’t the Ice Cream Sandwich. DroidLife reports that Motorola has sent invites for software testing for both phones and those signing up have already started to see the updates appear on their phones. Droid X2 is expected to get minor updates and improvements but the Droid 3 will be receiving some pretty big updates that will focus on fixing some major known bugs and issues.
The updates are ready for only testers at the moment but it isn’t ready for the masses yet. The update will be available for update really though as soon as the testing finishes.
