Recently LG Mobile renamed the Optimus LTE also known as Nitro HD or Spectrum in the US to LG Optimus True HD LTE. While LG Optimus 3D MAX and Optimus 4X HD are still underway, today the South Korean manufacturer announced in Hong Kong what it is now its flagship phone – LG Optimus True HD LTE, at least until the above mentioned beasts will launch.
LG P936 has a 4.5-inches True HD IPS (1280x720p resolution) and 326ppi display chosen by LG instead of the AMOLED display because it has much more brighter and vivid colors plus it drains less battery 0.6 watt, while Samsung’s AMOLED consumes 1 watt). In addition Optimus True HD LTE is powered by a dual-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz, 1GB of RAM, 8 megapixels LED flash main camera which is able to record videos at 1080p (30 frames per second), 1.3 megapixels camera in front for video calls/chat, 1830 mAh battery and it will run on Google Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread OS upgradable to Ice Cream Sandwich in the near future.
The phone is available in black or white color for HK $5280 (about $680 USD).
