I guess Friday 13th didnt turn out to be that bad after all for superstitious people, as Sony starterd pushing out Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich software update. Initially the update is available for Xperia arc S, Xperia neo V and Xperia ray owned by customers in Sweden, Denmark, Iceland, Finland and Norway (Northern European countries).
The software rollout startingtoday, will continue over the next 4 to 6 weeks, becoming available in other global markets as well. Be sure that we will announce it when the time comes.

To upgrade a 2011 Xperia smartphone you will need to connect to a PC or Mac, while following the instruction made available by Sony here.
The following devices will get the Ice Cream Sandwich firmware upgrade somewhere at the end of May or early June: Xperia arc, Xperia PLAY, Xperia neo, Xperia mini, Xperia mini pro, Xperia pro, Xperia active and Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman.
