LG Optimus Elite (Gelato) press render in the wild

It’s no secret that Sprint and its prepaid brand Virgin Mobile will soon reveal their entry-level LG Optimus Elite aka Gelato.

Phone’s hardware specifications are not impressive at all. Powered by a 800MHz processor, Elite comes with a 3.5-inch HVGA display, a 5MP main camera, and surprisingly for such a device will get support for Google Wallet. While Sprint chose a light-colored case version (white), Virgin will sell it wrapped up in a black plastic case.

Pricing details are not available yet, but it shouldn’t cost more than $100.
